Found Kodachrome slide, 1964. Street corners and secrets.

Photographer Charles Fréger traveled Europe documenting folk festivals in his astonishing book, Wilder Man.

The art inspired a CD of music by the Italian composer and sound designer Theo Teardo, called Music for Wilderness.

I want to christen this account with German photographer Marianne Breslauer’s achingly cool, gorgeous portraits of queer, androgynous, and butch women in the 1930s.
