The EU level CSRD and CSDDD could have been powerful tools to fight labour abuses both in international supply chains, and also internally within the EU.

Under the excuse of regulatory overburden (despite contrary evidence: www.linkedin.com/pulse/study-...)

A few months ago I had interviewed a rep from @fairemobilitaet.bsky.social on how they used the German supply chain law to secure rights for truckers within the EU (www.faire-mobilitaet.de/fachinformat...)

These laws could have been powerful tools to fight for corporate justice and transparency.
