First time I thought about a possible Highlander-Sinterklaas crossover, could be so awesome.

First time I thought about a possible Highlander-Sinterklaas crossover, could be so awesome.
Seems to me a lot of these issues could be avoided by making historical dramas about ordinary people, instead of always focussing on the 0,1% at the very top of society.
Somehow the progressivism that pushes for diverse casting just isn't progressive enough?
