On the subject of apostrophes, as mentioned in your Substack post, the desired ’, as opposed to ‘ (thought the typeface used by Bluesky fails to differentiate) can be typed on a Mac quite easily by holding down the “Shift” and “Option” keys and typing “]”. It is somewhat more cumbersome in Windows.

While starting to catalog my book collection recently I discovered that two historical non-fiction books on the same subject by the same author, which I had thought were *different* books because of the different titles, were indeed the same book (US & UK editions) with different titles.
