Hamas are not good because Israel is bad. They are both bad . They also , from their behaviors, justify the other. So if you want freedom you need freedom from both

They are not mutually exclusive. But in saying this I personally don’t think she is the greatest. Mixed bag . And because of the situation some will love her from an ideological viewpoint. Some will hate for the same reason

The media has definitely fuelled polarisation as its business model depends on clicks. But it has gone in different directions. And bad actors for all side have used it. The Age of Enlightenment is over . And the post ww2 arrangements are over. But yes we do have the oligarchs. The new land owners

The worry I had is that the counter reaction to one extreme would be equally extreme. Just stripping away any progress in rights already made. I am just hoping there is another counter reaction and we settle down somewhere in the middle. If we make it.

The invention of the car had mixed benefits. There was definitely short term ones for it to take off. If the long term side effects can’t bersolved is different. I think llm’s will be the same. Mixed. But too late now

I feel m, in part , the self identification and biological self have echoes of this difficulty within it. Or with in medicine with mental health and physical health. Though it is being recognised it is difficult to incorporate with out rejecting the other.

I am not fully up to it on Plato but Christianity has been influenced by Greek philosophy and Hebrew. So would make sense

Re: western paradigm of mind body I would say D) because how we define mind and body do interact. It is just the limitations of the paradigm that gives no mechanism to describe it. My mind does have a spatial location. It is within me. Not some one else. If perceived else where in relation to it.

I am not a specialist but I think it could a Christian influence. God/ man . Soul or the mind is separate to physical body. Man can not enter into mind of god hence there is no relationship. Any theological input be would good on this. It was a question I asked when studying physics years ago.

I think this has a lot to do with what we have occurring now. Or it has eventuated to this point. Unlike ying/ yang that has elements of each in each other west mind body duality has no relation between the two. Anti dualism in this case seems to chose one side instead of of resolving the two.

I agree. It should be a tenet of either political side(s) . Though not right wing to see someone who has different opinion as with out any value or contribution is dangerous as well. More the dialogue between the two. Also IMO wisdom , and truth, is cultural dependent. There are many truths now

If the era of activism is dead, or dying, we are in the land of cults now. I am wondering why people giving people this power. There is a need and a hole that people need filling.
