It’s been 20 years since this amazing game came out in Japan.

So I’m very conscious I’ve never actually posted a shiny here, so here is a picture of my very first full odds GBA hunt, shiny Rayquaza in Emerald!
One of my favourite Pokemon games and my favourite legendary, this took over a year to find. I was so happy and instantly hooked on shiny hunting

Gen 6 - Super easy and quick compared to everything previously. Just 3 levels (Beat E4, Complete Pokédex and get to 50 battles in 1 super mode of your choice in the battle maison)

Gen 5 (Part 2)! - PWT, Pokestar Studios and Funfest missions were very fun, but all fairly long grinds! Still enjoyed this one though 😃

Gen 5 (Part 1) - Actually really enjoyed these, musicals and the entree were a little repetitive, but I didn’t mind

Gen 2 Remakes - Again the battle tower was rough, felt like they used the same AI as Platinum

Gen 4 - These weren’t too bad, but I started to hate the Platinum battle tower towards the end

Gen 1 Remakes, these were super tough for me thanks to those damn mini games 😂
