I’m not good at remembering to post about arcs I’ve read but I was annoying one of my coworkers SOOO much about Swordheart the entire time I was reading I was having TOO MUCH FUN
A review by you! Swordheart by T. Kingfisher 4.5 Thank you netgalley for this arc! Within the first page I was like oh yeah this is the funniest book ever written, just a clown car full of personality! I had so much fun hoo-hooing and hee-heeing! However I really should have read clockwork boys first and that’s on me I just skipped through the specifics where possible! OOPS! MY BAD! There’s this reddit story (bear with me) where this sweet lady talks about how she asks loads of silly questions all the time and she overheard her in-laws all being super mean about it and her husband didn’t even try to defend her. This book is for HER I was thinking about her the entire time I hope she meets a man who’s down this bad for her.

SO good weird book soooo good loved it The Golden Raven by Nora Sakavic 5.0 Every book Nora invents new and exciting ways to torment her characters and also thrilling new ways for me to fall in love with them and all the while being so funny? This book had me at jaw droppington station my jaw fell all the way through the core of the earth and is heading out of the atmosphere the other way it’s about to start causing problems for the ISS my jaw only stopped dropping because it was already dropped I’ll never get it back it’s simply too dropped I’m gagging for the next book Court Of Wanderers by Rin Chupeco 5.0 Really I would have been happy with 500 pages of Remy getting dicked down and otherwise absolutely rattled but this was a very good alternative The Tainted Cup by Robert Jackson Bennett 5.0 Brilliant showstopping spectacular fantastic!!! I’m watching X2 for the first time today and I can’t stop thinking about my review of the first one
Letterboxd review of x-men (2000), 5 stars reading: Obsessed with how no one will build indoor bridges in this movie, like the temporary moving platforms ARE immensely cunty but what about when normal people need to walk around? Like Magneto babe you cannot be escorting your minions around constantly you have schemes just put a normal walk way in. And same with the plastic prison like I’m sorry but I’d be shitting bricks bringing Magneto breakfast in his Pyrex cage without having to walk through an extending clingfilm hamster tube.

A review by you! Fan Service by Rosie Danan 5.0 Thank you netgalley for this arc. This was such a joy to read, an absolute hoot from the get go! This book is written with so much love and affection for fandom and tackles the stickier areas that come with fandom and celebrity really nicely. There’s so much love in here for the types of shows that obviously inspired TAF and the fandoms that sprung from it, it was really lovely to see some nods to real life fanfiction that were so subtle and well enmeshed! This was just a gorgeous bit of work all the way down, incredibly fun to read and also: boner.
