The club don’t have to be over-combative about this. Maybe a few more words about why taking the knee is important and what it stands for

Fair point, a bit harsh - I agree they’ve responded to serious and specific incidents & they support anti-racism campaigns. But they could be more proactive/robust in speaking out about less overt racism, eg the booing of players taking the knee. I hope I’m wrong - I’d like to see them do more

The club should make a statement about this if they are at all serious about tackling racism. They won’t though

As others have said, the BBC is usually happy to give Reform significant coverage that is disproportionate to their small and shrinking no of MPs but, strangely, all but ignores this.

What makes it worse is the BBC choosing not to cover this for days. Apparently blatant racism by a sitting MP is not newsworthy

Criticised?! Not so long ago she’d have had to resign for that kind of blatant racism. Shame on her, and shame on the Tories who should bear much of the blame for this kind of hatred and division becoming an everyday thing now
