I mean, aside from getting lost in the details about his framing of London, the post is obviously racist and xenophobic. But I think it's important to point out who he qualifies as native.

Also, it's a classic "foreigner thinks foreign country has too many foreigners (the wrong kind)."

If someone doesn't think that a Black or Asian person:

* born in Britain
* with a British passport
* that speaks British English with a British accent
* has grown up with British schooling and British entertainment and culture

is British, then they're racist, period.

In 2001 78.3% of Londoners were native. In 2021, 59.3% were.

For his numbers to make sense, he'd be looking at only *white British* people. in 2001, 59.8% of inhabitants in London were white Brits, in 2021 36.8% were white Brits. Maybe he includes the Irish and travelers, but those don't affect the numbers. He definitely doesn't include "other whites."

The title should already give away the problem. Now, he says 2024, but really he means 2021, since the last census was taken in 2021, and that's where this data comes from.
