Are there any sewists out there that can give me advice? I have all of this scrap fabric, and a lot of it is slippery stuff. Would starching it before sewing and then washing it out after work?

And should i make my own stuff, or is washable glue fine?

I dyed my hair with henna last night, and even though it takes way long than trad hair dye, I love it WAY more. (It won't be this bright forever, henna darkens over time)

Making these gloves to be used well, so i decided to literally "weave" the ends into the finger pad area, hopefully making it heartier that the rest, has anyone else done this before?

Finally finished up this beautiful 3 ply on my drop spindle! I figured out my own little weirdo way to make a traditional 3 ply bc I do not enjoy doing chain plies 99% of the time, and I think it came out lovely!

The yarn is a dark green/olive drab color with yellow, red, and blue flecks of color throughout it The olive yarn is now in a loose skein, draped over top a black and white cat who is sunning himself on the kitchen table, his face is blurry from moving it around. His name is Kuma The loose skein is repositioned on Kuma again as he looks out the window in front of him. Behing him a small stuffed turkey toy is slightly toppled over, and it looks like the turkey is looking at the yarn and/or petting the cat. The olive yarn is sitting on a cream colored table cloth that has oak leaves and acorn imprints scattered across it. Then yarn looks slightly washed out because the lighting is too bright

I've been struggling with my physical health lately and its been making it hard to get anything done, but I've started reworking my crochet scrappy blanket, and its been making me feel a little bit better 🧶

Been foraging TONS of acorns so I can do some tannin dyes on some clothing. Ive never done it before... But I cant wait! 🧶

Been working on a sweater for myself, decided to switch patterns and I'm glad I did, this one is a lot less stressful than the previous one, and I think I'll actually get it done before winter hits.

Sharing some hand dyed yarn that I had to re-mordant bc it kept turning my hands purple whenever i knit with it 🙄

Here's hoping it stops. (does anyone know if logwood is forever troublesome like this?)

🧶 Crocheting my fiance's sibling a head-kerchief and the pattern and colors she chose look really good together, I might have to make some of these to sell in the shop eventually. My only issue is I can't find a source for the pattern's maker, so it would feel weird to sell it w/o credit

Workin on finishing this crochet crossbody bag, and I'm loving the way the colors are coming out with this.
A crocheted bag in rainbow striped colors, it has diagonal lines if puff stitches spiraling up the sides, giving it a nice 3D texture.
