I've seen it used by model-building communities. The lego community, as well. Just little bits of visual interest, pipes and nodules and bumps and bolts, wires and plating with no clear purpose other than to look cool.

I agree completely, but am slightly warmer on it. The first 30ish hours is an incredible journey, and all of the worldbuilding and art is thrilling to take in. They put the credits in halfway, and I think more people should take that as a stopping point. The back half is for sickos.

Sometimes it's useful to go back and look at your older work. I found some stories that I wrote back when I was 16, and aside from a few understandable small changes, I pretty much have the same kinks as I did back then.

Switch 1 hit with a brand new zelda and a mario a month or two later. One of the hottest launch windows ever. 2 is launching with... Some stuff? That seems okay? And, "We know things ran poorly on S1, you wanna pay us to make them run good on S2?" Nah. I really don't.
