Suicide amongst those with eating disorders is also much higher than those without! That makes eating disorders a serious public health issue and one that often goes under the radar.

Many parents and providers fail to realize that #eatingdisorders if ALL types can kill. Eating disorders increase the risk of early death by over 6% (for anorexia) and 1.6% (for bulimia) as compared to the general population.
