During their time here, the group also enjoyed time at the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum, diving into America’s history as we begin celebrations of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

Before the group wrapped up their visit to Boston, they spent some time connecting with the local community and volunteering at the Allston Brighton Food Pantry.

The group was welcomed by the U.S. Attorney Leah Foley and Jason Casey, Deputy Chief of the National Security Unit, who discussed how they build their cases and gather evidence in conjunction with the FBI.

Later on, the group met with professors at the Tufts University Cybersecurity Center for the Public Good to explore some hands-on experiences offered to students in the field.

The group then met with Gerry Lorden, a longstanding partner of WorldBoston who has worked with Morgan Stanley for over 35 years as a financial and cybersecurity expert, for a conversation on emerging technologies and national security in cyber practices.

In a wide-ranging discussion and lunch with Mark and Amy, along with colleagues across the U.S. in an online call, visitors learned about best practices for strengthening cybersecurity and the legal process behind handling ransom requests.
