After finishing it though, I kinda realized that it looked a bit... empty, so I gave the JP cover for Sonic 1 a quick study and came up with this small revision, as seen in this patchy timelapse included below. [2/3]

This time, it's Amy in a casual dress. I really struggled more than I really should've, deciding on which colour the sweater should be. Between red and green though, I think I took the right decision for the final drawing.

Haven't seen this art/design used elsewhere. Additionally, unlike the UK/US DVDs, these aren't in the usual DVD cases, but a unique boxset format. The menus are also pretty unique, despite not being much of a looker. Overall, it's a solid release, and a good way to watch the series in French!

No bonus features sadly, but, aside from the same redrawn proto-SatAM Sonic on the cover and menus, and the reused DiC Tails art, there is also new art of Sally... specifically, her pilot design, but with her final colors!

The French dub of SatAM had some differences, notably localizing a majority of the names, and the theme song is different, being based on the Italian theme of SatAM when it was paired with AoStH. It seems they put the dub track on top of the Shout masters, providing a pretty good image quality.

A SatAM DVD release has been preserved: the Complete Series box set in French! Ripped by yours truly and archived by @satamhistorian.bsky.social
