This has come up in the Devoid Cube when someone sac'd an etched monstrosity to something and then used the counters to kill their opponents creature from the Ozolith.

Fun fact you can put -1/-1 counters on the Ozolith and then move them...

You fucking cuties.

Yeah, some version of Therapy // Actually Working On Yourself feels like it's probably the most correct answer (if that's a snarky and less wholesome way of putting it)

(Magic: The Gathering flavored answers are acceptable).

Is the number 50, or do you randomize between drafts?

The idea that I would be getting close, just 5 years later, to actually drafting that many different cubes is a wild thing to comprehend and honestly I think speaks to the explosion of creativity in the cube space, as I don't think I would have ended up here just drafting 50+ different legacy cubes

5 years ago when I got laid off during Covid, I spent a few weeks on reddit doing test drafts and providing detailed written feedback to over 130 different #mtgcubes. Through that, I ended up meeting a few people online and getting more tightly integrated into the very nascent online cube community.

2-1 with Esper Mid-Range. Got to flip a Bloodline Keeper and attack for 16 in one game. The vibes.

Shoulda been 002/001. Missed opportunity.

It is very much an aesthetic experience. I'm sure the gameplay would end up being very choppy/uneven.

Also, there are 0 ducks in Magic. Like they just printed the first duck in TLA and it's not even just a duck!

None of these cards printed have any relevance specifically to The Hobbit (though funnily, the W part of the cycle is the only one that might be!)

I legit thought that the banner image above is something you photoshopped together because it looks...rough...

How divorced are your guests?
November 18, 2025 at 2:10 PM
Yeah, I'm not differentiating for the MTGO Vintage Cube anything different from the "PowerMax" vs. "No-Holds-Barred" vs. other iterations. I've tried to already separately curate a list of everything in an MTGO vintage cube so far, so I think that list should be inclusive of all that stuff.

Amazing, thank you!
