As a Canadian, I see the rise of autocracy both in the U.S. and in our own country. With figures like Trump shaping the future, the shift toward something far darker already feels underway. We’re on the brink of losing the freedoms we’ve long taken for granted.

I watched Joe Biden’s farewell address last night, and I couldn’t hold back my tears. It wasn’t just the end of his presidency that got to me; it was the realization that we may one day look back at that moment as the end of a free, democratic society.

I’m at the point where I’m thinking of deleting my account and restarting. I regret the booster packs as it’s a full time job to vet them all. I too think quality over quantity but then I question how we all unite without a large following?
