Our Tower Hamlets service hosted their 'Getting Back into Employment workshop' in collaboration with Tower Hamlets Recovery College.

The session offered support for people exploring returning to work. With topics like overcoming barriers to employment and mental health disclosure in the workplace.

We just got word that 52 clients from our IPS Workwise Newham service attended the recent Community Links Job Fair! An amazing result that we hope puts more #Newham residents on the right path of their employment journey!

We had a great time at Compass Wellbeing's employment support fair today. It gave us the opportunity to meet local residents and discuss what support our services could offer before hosting a workshop around reasonable adjustments in the workplace. All in all a great day. Thanks for having us!

Today is #MHFAiderDay a celebration of Mental Health First Aiders. When asked about MHFA means to them our First Aide trainer told us

On Remembrance Day, we honour those who served and reflect on the ongoing impact of conflict. We also recognise that many veterans continue to face physical and mental health challenges as a result of their service and that remembrance includes ongoing support and understanding.

As today is Suicide Prevention Day we just wanted to take a moment to amplify the amazing work the Samaritans do. Just remember you can switch off from social media if you need to but if you do need to talk to someone the Samaritans are there to listen.
