The Luka trade was the exogenous shock that rattled me from my stupor and made me realize almost everyone in power in any field right now is literally, in the clinical sense, addicted to both gambling and attention, and doesn't give a single shit about anyone else. I was clearly not alone here.

It also ruined other sports for me because I can not get attached to a player anymore, nor trust decision makers, especially billionaires.

Can't even get attached to a player or find the energy to care for any sport thanks to Mavericks ownership/FO. Wish they had studied the history of the city. Will not hold their carelessness and callousness against the players currently on the roster.
