This weeks oracle card draw. I'll try to post everyday but it's a new thing for me so it'll take a while for me to get in that habit. I have drawn everyday this week though.

I'm missing my momma tonight. So I played my carousel horses and held her doll. Played this one last and damn if momma didn't just reach out and hug me. I've always loved this song, but to hear it again; while surviving such strong emotions hits different.

Here comes smile number 2. I realized today that I'm going to need several masks because they will need washing. I think I'm going to make one for every day of my work week. Doing a duck bill on one of them for sure. Maybe some specific anime and cartoon character faces too?

Won break room guessing game. Only 1 away from the actual total. My secret? I estimated the amount per layer & the layers per container & multiplied them together.

Not bad for my very first hand embroidered piece. Making myself a smile mask for work. Since a customer feels entitled to my smile I figured I'd make them one. Saves me from having to force myself to be a robot. I think it will also just make for an overall better day

Change in plans for this shelf I came into a bit of unexpected income and have decided to install bathroom shelves which will take a considerable amount of stuff away from my bedside and the top of my dresser.
I'll be building my dollhouse on my dresser once it's cleaned off this means bigger btw🥳

Well my hubby is coming home from work because of power outage where he is so Elspeth and I are going to meet him at the subaru dealership to drop my car off and clear the check engine light... again because the first time didn't fix it.

Funny thing was we were going to also have Cornish hens but we accidentally over thawed them and weren't going to risk food poisoning just to eat them.

First/last time I made a pie crust was 13 years ago.
Not bad for my second pie crust ever🥰 Nick whipped up some cream to top it with🤤 It's pretty darn good🥳 We may have over pre-baked the crust and the braid came out beautiful to look at (but a little too crunchy to eat🤭)
The taste is great tho😋

I have literally zero knowledge on how to build a dollhouse from popsicle sticks and card board but I'm going to try and build it anyway. Today I prepped my wall supports, second floor base & attic floor base.
And then decided to re-design the roof pitch.
