In summer the island looks white like snow by it is the Gannets and in winter grey because they have gone..

Went to Skovde today, found a stationery (!) dept within a bookshop, with an English Language section of books! Some good stuff too but a lot of it I already have at home #Skara trip.

Performance today at #Skara bibliotek, doing Medusa Retold, Iona in Lacrimis and a new piece, A Ghazal for Skara, because they seem to be in conversation with each other, and each place is not easy to get to, you have to really want to get there!

obsessed wi' this 3D map, last night watched a freeze creep ovr it - gave me ideas for new pieces a magical map that can foretell the weather, perhaps Cassandra like it is ignored & something terrible befalls the townspeople... or it's an Oracle &they believe everything it tells them.. #Skara

Being on my #Skara trip at the minute has it seems meant a return to form, actual form, with ideas for sonnets and ghazals, perhaps the setting demands a more formal approach, surrounded by libraries and cathedrals oh my

Went to the Vokalensemble at #Skara Cathedral tonight, they were playing Abide With Me on the church bells, amazing start and then the voices for The Road Home were spine tingling.

Went to the Hans Zimmer by Candlelight at Jacy'z, a quartet playing his film music, was superb, they allowed photos but they don't do it justice at all, it was absolutely packed by the time it started. Finished up with Pirates of the Carribbean 🏴☠️ ( #Skara trip)
