I started Pathfinder: Kingmaker recently and am enjoying it a good deal. However... it sure does have some of the funniest matter of fact CRPG dialogue choices.

Started Marvel's Midnight Suns recently. Game good. Love to chat with my buds on super hero twitter, lounge around, and have someone trauma dump the first time we hangout. Also there's a pretty good tactics game underneath all the Bioware-esque stuff.

Really hope there are at least some predefined and narratively fleshed out characters because some sort of pre-Rebel Alliance resistance cell with a clone trooper and an Umbaran in it is ripe for some good shit.

Progress still being made! I am moving onto playing modded ME3 today. Also starting the last game in this entry of Non-Ace Combat Ace Combats. I have a few unmentioned small blogs planned as well. Really trying to hold myself accountable with getting work done this year.

Spent the overwhelming majority of my day finishing Mass Effect 2 so that I can get this modding and player agency video out eventually. Ran into a glitch that honestly... an improvement on the ending of ME2.

It's interesting to see the ways ME1 breaks in regards to the Same-Gender Romance mod. Male Shep gets the Fem Shep lines here. "But you're a female!" shows how the game fractures as a result of any attempt to make it more queer. Much to ponder for my far off Mass Effect and modding as agency video.

I'm starting Mass Effect again because its time to begin, in earnest, this big project that I've been cooking in the background for a year. Working title of "The Mod that Fixed Mass Effect 3's Ending" which will be about player agency through mods and other means.

Oh, Sakura Wars really is just a 90's workplace comedy, mecha anime with elements of visual novels, tactics, and dating sim. I probably should have played this sooner.

Took nearly two weeks off from doing any writing or video stuff. Which, hey I might have been a bit burnout it would seem. Focusing on some shorter projects: a couple blogs, and a short video. Still cooking a longer project in the background though.

It suggests I stop doing video game stuff and go back to anime, which I have not done consistently in years. The videos these are based on were popular, but I've also had video game stuff do similarly as well in the time since.

After doing a ton of work today, I rewarded myself by finally watching the latest Senritsu Kaiki film. Delightful. It is immensely funny to me that in the wild cinematic universe of Shiraishi's films, Covid is canon and is ruining Kudo-san's indie film company. Man, deservedly, can't catch a break.
