She seemed like kind of a jerk in Prime 4. People keep asking her questions she knows the answer to and she leaves them in the dark over and over.

Having an unfathomably bad memory has some perks... okay, exactly this one perk.

It was nice when the game let you drop off the linear path each time you got a new tool. So there could actually be some Metroid in my Metroid. But it was less nice that, every single time I went to go do that, a guy called me up and told me what to do instead.

The boss fights were pretty much all bangers though. Not that difficult, but super tough fights aren't what these games do. More like just intense fights with a little bit of a puzzle to them.

The differences in the main enemy types seemed to literally be the difference in color and their health pools. It's implied in the lore that they're more different, but then they all do the same things. I guess you get the ones that explode at the end.

Something that's really interesting is how the enemy variety mostly went down as you played. Very early, you run into interesting and weird creatures. Then it quickly goes, no, actually, fight this robot over and over. Or this not-a-space-pirate over and over.

That sure was an okay Metroid when it was Metroid and a mediocre Metroid when it was Halo instead.

Samus metroiding herself for once. Preemptively. Timeline restored. And she will never talk about being psychic for a day ever again. Because she never talks about anything.

Finished the game. I'm glad they're all dead.

The non-spoiler explanation of the video is just, the annoying tutorial/tell-you-what-to-do guy is telling me to go do something I literally just did and isn't there anymore.
