Now that I have found two five-leaf clovers in a span of three months, should I play the lottery? Did I already miss my window? How does this work?

A6 may be the perfect format for single short stories. I started receiving a subscription to DAS GRAMM 6 months ago. One short story every 2 months. Possibly the best thing to ever to happen to my mailbox.

Found a five-leaf clover this morning so I had to do some research. The first three leaves represent hope, love, and faith. The fourth represents luck and the fifth, wealth.
The five-leaf clover is also known as a rose clover and the “leaves” are technically called “leaflets.”

In English we say we “have (or own) an animal.” In German, same thing, it’s all about possession. Ich habe drei Katzen (I have three cats). In Korean, however, you grow/raise (키우다) an animal.

It’s a small but mighty distinction in attitude toward our beloved pets.
