So interesting! I was in base MS there, and they kept us in line with threat of professional retaliation to our active duty parents. I have to think the kids exercised these rights with tacit or overt parental approval, which means active duty members of all ranks are calling BS too. Love to see it!

I was a lurker on Twitter. Then I tried to build community on Threads but found it hard to do so. I'm hoping this town square/algorithm is friendlier.

Also happens within states. The west (blue) side of Washington state sends tax money to prop up the east (red) side. No, Earl, your farm taxes are not going to the homeless in Seattle, and you are NOT self-sufficient.

It's a menopause thing, too, so that's something to look forward to.
