Published author, researcher, retired college professor/administrator, musician, married, mom, sunset seeker, dog lover, and occasional screamer into pillows. No DMs, please.
I still have a first edition of Ozma of Oz, The Scarecrow, and an early edition of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. And you're right. Those who have seen these on my bookshelf had no idea that any other books on the subject existed.

Mine, too. I'm a retired English professor whose head is filled with classical literature. I have taught the "greats," but to me, Owen Meany is the most moral, self-assured, hilarious, heroic, empathetic character in contemporary novels. I re-read the book every year at Christmas. And you know why.

May it be his last vacation before incarceration.

The "Yeah, but 'they' did this . . ." attitude gets us nowhere and keeps the blame game going. We need to move this along and let the chips fall where they may so recovery can begin.

Why is this political???!! It's a crime on a massive scale, and all people, regardless of Party, should know who is being protected, why, and exactly what's being covered up. Release the files, name the names, and let those who were involved explain or defend. These women deserve justice.

I "imagine" it every day.

Perfect metaphor for these times. Thank you.

We've all seen the pictures of them together and heard stories on multiple occasions. Of course, the actions are bad, but why is this news?

You are absolutely not alone. In fact, I suspect that my demanding, heavy eye-contact, singular "woof" barking miniature schnauzer CAN talk; I think he just enjoys watching me try to read his mind.

What? Wait? In this political climate, literature wins? #books #booksky

According to snopes.com fact check, Obama did not profit from Obamacare.

Tech and important presentations always tempt surprises. What you have here is a recurring nightmare that needs to be nipped in the bud. Sorry it happened, but you'll get mileage out of sharing a great story, after the trauma subsides. Glad you made it through.

The replica of the Silla gold crown that South Korea gave him was crafted to be worn by women in positions of power, reflecting cultural values and gender representation. Trolled in gold.

So we're doing "alternate facts" again? Will someone please change this lousy broken record?

My "night person" experience defies this study. I have felt miserable since the fall time change & have always resented it. Don't we deserve some evening light to enjoy the end of a day rather than having the world turn dark at 5 p.m.,& aren't mornings bad enough without starting earlier? Ugh.

Remember the old days when a religious Vice President didn't think it proper to be in a room with another woman unless his wife was present? Fast forward to Gomorrah.
