The National Debt, massively increased under the 2010-2024 Tory governments has to be repaid one day, but we can't afford to now and need to spend on run-down public services like NHS. In the meantime, we have no choice but to pay interest on the debt. We can't spend the same money on other things

I couldn't agree more with you James Ball. It's not easy, but communicating in language which ordinary people engage with and readily understand is absolutely vital.
