Preparator Rhys is using a light meter here to make sure light levels for each work are within an appropriate range of foot-candles determined by our Conservation team, and applies filters and screens to the lights to diffuse them as needed.

Many suits of armor in museums are composites of multiple pieces, but this is a homogenous suit with each original piece made for the suit. It's also exceptional for telling us who made the suit and for whom, with both names etched in the armor among the other fine details
