Can you forensically demolish or take to task a person that isn’t there, and can’t reply?

Can there be a quick return? If the conviction is already spent and it’s a resigning matter today (not saying I agree with that, btw), what changes in the next few years? I think they’ve inadvertently boxed themselves into a corner.

Isn’t there a good argument that resigning for such weird reasons makes this a much bigger story/distraction? Also, as it’s spent and was years ago now, this also suggests she can never hold another cabinet position?

I reminded that the petition to revoke art 50 and stay in the EU got some 6m votes. Would be interesting to see a Venn diagram of the people who trashed that petition but exalt this petition.
