I was wrong about Gabriel but I’m confident about Shadeur. Both are potential backups. Play Shadeur to decide which one you keep. Go find a reclamation project like Malik Willis or Trey Lance.

I’d settle for wildcat runs every play of the game

He’s rated 27 of 35 by PFF, play is declining and he’s 30. No way they’re extending Pocic - that’s crazy. I’d like the Browns to get Wypler in the last 4 games to see what he’s got.

Maybe he'll call less plays that have 180 pound WRs blocking LBs.

Rams and that 1st rd pick from Atlanta in play? - 🤔

Interesting what Miami will do in the 2026 draft. Would they trade out of a top pick because they have all that guaranteed money in a QB for 2026? I think ya - it’s gotta be 2+ years to get out of this mess.

My favourite part was Stefanski giving Gabriel crap because he threw an incomplete pass so the Vikings didn’t have to use there final timeout and then called 3 timeouts to help them score a TD. The Vikings never used their last timeout.

Well Gabriel starting is a good first step. The tackles have struggled but Flacco was also fundamentally unsound often not looking hot side first in empty sets and holding onto the ball far too long. Gabriel’s quick processing and delivery should minimize protection issues.

There winning the AFC North! Bengals are done, Ravens in trouble with injuries and the Steelers will fade.

Because he’s terrible. Weak arm, doesn’t work through progressions, below average athleticism, holds on to ball too long, poor pocket presence often trying to escape clean pockets for no reason. Immaturity limits potential for improvement on top of limited physical attributes.

The fool does eventually what the wise does immediately

I can’t and won’t watch another Flacco start. Love the guy, but he just can’t do it anymore.
