Received news from back home that my cat whom I adopted in 2017 from a shelter, Laphicet, was diagnosed with late stage lung cancer. He's been steadily declining for the last year. But has lost 3.5lbs due to it. His days are numbered and basically a hospice kitty now.

In light of this election crap and deviate from it for a bit. A couple weeks ago I bought Animal Crossing on GC for my partner, and I learned my battery dried out on my gamecube. So I bought a soldering kit to open it up and replace the battery. The inside of this is absolutely fascinating.
