I'm a bookkeeper and I constantly get, "You don't look like a bookkeeper." Like?? Do they think I look too dumb for it or I don't look like I would have such a nerd job? No idea.

On a cuter note when my nephews were younger they thought it meant I was some kind of librarian.

I was at a work holiday gathering recently and I had forgotten how common it is for women to talk about how much they exercised that day to excuse indulging. Even stranger were the expectant looks at me, like they were waiting for me to participate.
