At Saturday’s derby match against Haydock the teams were led out behind Northwest Miners Heritage Association’s Bold Colliery banner. Carrying the banner is Town volunteer, supporter, all round legend, John Cole & Chair, Ste Lingard. John’s father was a Bold miner as was Ste’s uncle ⛏️ #ExTerraLucem

Unfortunately lost a home replay to @morecambefc.bsky.social denying us a chance to take on Jim Smith’s @yorkcityfc-unoffic.bsky.social from the old Div 3. However a crowd of 1,200 turned up to our old home Hoghton Rd on a Tues.

Special mention to our Andy Langley. Today marked his 600th game following his home town club. Not only is he Town’s most loyal supporter but he’s also our matchday announcer, famed for Langers Bangers and squealing feedback.
