oh dear. A combination of decongestant, hot drinks and warm bottle-on-head did help me ... Can you eat garlic? Fresh raw garlic minced or finely chopped & sprinkled into a nice fresh tomato (e.g.) sandwich, also helps to clear the Tubes, plus it's anti-microbial, anti-fungal AND anti-vampyre?

Just come through some of that myself! I imagine you've tried breathing steam, taking decongestant, swearing in a kind and gentle way? Have you tried a warm hot water bottle on the sore side of the head? That helped me. Wrap in a smooth* cloth & lay your head upon it. (* = no crinkles on the face)
