We've adopted the phrase "that's not very baby beluga of you" when the meldowns begin. At least someone gets to chuckle

Apparently for me the number one movie when I was 10 was Shrek 2...

I change into different comfy clothes for the day. I feel weird elsewise

I played so much commander keen growing up, but it was definitely retro even then

What were your first four commander decks?

The middle two of those I still have!

Honestly, I think a bit of St. Germaine from the Castlevania Series on Netflix. Witty, an enthralling storyteller, and subtly a force of nature.

I think a bit of Trine from the Final Architecture books by Adrian Tchaikovsky. Incisive and intelligent, a bit uncanny at times

Oof so true. My wife and I recently found out we were moving a week before having 2 days to do it. You can do this!

I've been throughly enjoying Tawnos, Solemn Survivor. There's some hilarious chicanery you can get up to when your graveyard becomes a clonable second hand

Reading it is like eating a macaroni salad. Broadly approachable, occasionally tangy or interesting, but for some reason there's a random olive pit or grain of something hard to eat around and I'm just not sure the rest of the rest of this dish is worth the hassle of those repeated friction points

I'm in book 2 of Sanderson's storm light archive and I'm seriously considering giving up on it. The world building is neat, but there's a serious disconnect between exposition and dialog. Sanderson's characters tend to just exposit at one another, then just verbally confirm that exposition. Oof.

I'm in the US, I use ground news, and generally I've been pleased with it. I don't agree with all of their default political mappings, but having access to it has been a boon to my news reading

OK, did some reading and now I guess I too need to start shopping for new deck boxes...

Oh! I was unaware, guess I need to go do some reading. Thanks for the gentle correction
