Just saw The Bad Guys 2!

We really loved the first movie and the sequel doesn't dissapoint. Very cute and clever movie, though a bit more trope heavy than the first.

Impressive production quality and animations, with great voice acting and humor that works for both kids and adults.

Recommended!

We saw MI: Final Reckoning and had a decent time!

Felt a bit too long, with too much exposition and repetitive flashbacks, and some of the first half didn't quite work for me. But, the movie was entertaining and had a great message.

The submarine sequence was insane, one of the best in the series

This week Andor S2 ended, and man, what a show! Its rekindled a love for starwars thats been dead in me, yet I fear we won't see anything this good from the series ever again

Its the best starwars we've had since the OT, and its arguably even better. It respects both the audience and the franchise.

Saw Thunderbolts and actually enjoyed it! Far better than most of the recent Marvel films, and had a unique vibe to it

It had a huge focus on mental health, depression, and how to deal with it all, which was handled surprisingly well

Fights were pretty good, too!

Also,Bob is the best, lmao

Saw Warfare this week, and can highly recommend, but with some disclaimers.

It's a war film that faithfully shows how stressful, pointless, and bloody war can be. Its like 90mins of anxiety, with insane sound design.

Loved it, and have been thinking about it for days.

Sanderson's Sunlit Man was a wild ride! It's a sci-fantasy Mad Max story with fast pacing and action from start to finish. Its also Sanderson at his most scifi complete with guns and space ships.

Had a blast with it, but must disclaim that is has major spoilers for Stormlight and Mistborn!

Yumi and the Nightmare Painter was a clever and heartfelt read. It was kind of like an anime or manga? Felt fairly eastern influenced and styled in a lot of ways, which is unique for Sanderson! Very emotional read, too, honestly. It had some amazing cosmere connections as well. Great read <3

Just finished Wind and Truth, aka Stormlight 5, and wow...

That was a hell of a journey. I'm not entirely sure what to say or what to think, but I enjoyed every page

Its a story that does justice to its characters and the world they inhabit. It makes me yearn for more while also feeling satisfied.

Sonic 3 exceeded my already high expectations. Hilarious, heartfelt, wholesome, and genuinely *fun*. What a good movie! Tons of amazing references, an incredible adaptation of the games/lore, and Keanu as Shadow was perfect. But Jim Carrey as Eggman really stole the show, my lungs hurt from laughing

Spotify Wrapped is here!

Witchz was top (saw him live in October!), and Riverkin and Johnny Goth right behind him.

Been a fun year for new genres for me, esp getting into darker witchy stuff, haha.

Heretic was awesome and hit close to home a number of times. I'm an ex-mormon who served a mission and who is an agnostic, so this movie was right up my alley. Great theological and philosophical discussions topped off with excellent horror. Great acting, great soundtrack, and a crazy ending.

In fact, my profile background/banner image is a close up of my destiny commission from him (along with two close buddies, Ashura and Kayron).

Saw Conclave today, had a good time? Not a period piece at all, very modern film with modern issues and topics, while still dealing with some timeless values. Gorgeous film, great acting esp from Finnes, slow-burn plot, and a crazy ending that I enjoyed but that might shock others.
