Now that I've posted this publicly, I find myself doing an analysis of competing hypotheses:
H1: SCATTERED SPIDER (SCSP) has merged (in whole or in part) with ShinyHunters (SH)
H2: SCSP members have become initial-access brokers for SH, potentially others.
H3: @Shinysp1d3r, et. al. is trolling

You're right, though—we shouldn't be emulating the IC without examining what the benefit is to the industry. Serialization is one thing (but I'm afraid folks over-engineer this)
Analytic Integrity has its limits, too.
