Everyone: the virtual boy stuff is expensive and probably not worth it. Me: Do I need to buy an oled as it probably has the best screen for this?

Played the Mina demo. Great way to try 120fps on switch 2. It’s great but they had me when the intro music kicked in. Hit by nostalgia but was it shovel knight or 8 / 16 bit era? Somehow they have mixed 16 bit Zelda with a hint of mole mania. This is pure genius. @yachtclubgames.bsky.social

Everyone is banging on about game key cards for the switch 2 but no body has spotted the cheap cases. Switch 1 cases are so solid but the red ones might as well be paper.

Not sure why Nintendo played down the switch 2 GameCube controller. Smash recognised it as a GameCube controller straight away. It has gyro and the necessary buttons. Struggling to work what’s not compatible. I’m not a massive GameCube controller fan but love this version.

The switch 2 is fairly solid. Switch 1 games are working so much better. GameCube games have no right to look that good. The only disappointment is the VRR not working on the TV. Nintendo might have to work some technical magic or it will be a new dock.

Decisions need to be made today. Time to make space around the tv for switch 2. Wii u or switch 1. One shall stand and one shall fall.

Nintendo dropped the ball with the switch 2 launch. They should have led with free Wii speak included with the console. That cost $30 back in the day.
