Every country has cowards, but throughout history people have overcome it to protect themselves, family and country from a foreign army. When so many refuse to fight, it has to be more than cowardice. The men fighting have been exceptionally brave, so we know the Ukrainians are not cowards.

I find it difficult to understand why every man woman and child isn’t willingly fighting. I assume it must be the incompetence and corruption leaves them feeling unconnected to their country.
