Jesse Ventura may be radical in some of his views but he is a true patriot. I'll stand behind Ventura any day.

I keep a journal where I write random thoughts or quotes that I find interesting. Think I’ll try posting them here also. Here goes:

Reflecting on 1-6-2021. I remember sitting at my work computer when the department head stuck his head in my office and told me to turn on the news. Watched the insurrection unfold live… Made me very sad. I’m still very sad.

Acts of war, attacking small boats and kidnapping a country’s first family, without congress declaring a state of war… Not feeling very proud to be an American right now.

Why do people insist on saying “Happy New Year” to me? That’s a lot of pressure. I much prefer “Tolerable New Year”.

Had a senior moment today. I was shopping at a big box store, had some stuff in my carriage and was browsing one of the racks. Turned around, grabbed the carriage and headed for the grocery aisles. Picked up some coffee and realized I had grabbed the wrong carriage. Oops!!!

Traveling during this festive holiday season. As always, the hotel I’m staying at has a Bible in the room. I have, on the rare occasion, found a Book of Mormon in a hotel room. I have never seen a Koran in a hotel room in the US. Interesting 🤔

I used to get the Celtics games on TV when I lived in Maine. I would turn off the sound and listen to the radio broadcasts with Johnny Most. It was entertaining to listen to Most and wonder what game he was watching because it didn’t seem the same on my TV. Just saying 🙂.
