When we have too many data centers already, we start creating “ghost” data centers.

Without oversight and regulation, these “ghost” data centers can be used for nefarious crimes.
If there were zero oversight and regulations on data centers in the US, they could be exploited for various nefarious purposes, including: • Unauthorized mass surveillance and data mining: Without regulations, data centers could be used to collect and store vast amounts of personal communications and metadata without warrants or consent, enabling illegal spying on individuals and groups, as was feared for NSA facilities like the Utah Data Center. • Illegal access and misuse of sensitive Poorly regulated data centers could become hubs for unauthorized access, data theft, or hacking activities, exposing personal, financial, or government data to malicious actors. • Enabling large-scale data heists: Data centers with lax security could facilitate high-profile unauthorized data extraction operations, such as the alleged unauthorized access and data scraping from government systems by unauthorized personnel. • Supporting cybercrime or illicit networks: Such facilities could be exploited for hosting illicit content, illegal marketplaces, or ransomware operations, leveraging the massive storage and processing capabilities without accountability. • Obscuring ownership and operations: Without transparency requirements, entities might obscure ownership structures (e.g., through LLCs) to conduct illegal or unethical activities under cover of secrecy.

The article was never attached. I obviously only was commenting on this part. Which I find nothing wrong with. Whatever else is in the article, I probably would not agree with because I can’t remember ever agreeing with Carville.
This offers Democrats the greatest gift you can have in American politics: a second chance. I am now an 81-year-old man and I know that in the minds of many, I carry the torch from a so-called centrist political era. Yet it is abundantly clear even to me that the Democratic Party must now run on the most populist economic platform since the Great Depression. It is time for Democrats to embrace a sweeping, aggressive, unvarnished, unapologetic and altogether unmistakable platform of pure economic rage. This is our only way out of the abyss.
