Job of the morning today, grading out some of these lovely Vinca. This particular one is the variety “illumination“. Find them in your local garden centre soon.

Was a bit foggy at work…

Always a good time of year when the shops start selling daffodils. Not long before they’ll be out proper in the wild. Can’t wait.

Something very satisfying about a well raked bed.

Today I’m cleaning up and top-dressing some Nandina domestica “Obsessed” ready to be put away for the winter.

Only another 200 to go…

Look at this sunrise on the way to work this morning. LOOK AT IT! it’s just rude. I love Britain.

Absolutely stunning in East Hampshire today. The sky looked like it had been drawn with pastels as I drove in this morning. The fog is still hanging around, but is being burnt off by the winter sun slowly.

These Senecio Candicans “Angel Wings” are still looking lovely!

This morning’s job is picking over them taking off any dead/dying/slug-nibbled leaves and generally making sure they’re at their best for our garden centre clients.

Good God, why would #Ring think this is a good idea?

Pop quiz, does anybody use these stupid canned responses?

Lovely chilly start in #EastHampshireToday - 1st job this morning is laying down some frosty Cornus alba Sibirica. Look at the colour on those stems.

Today I am mostly doing this. A LOT.

Defoliating and putting some shrubs to bed for winter. In this case Weigla “All Summer Peach”

My fingers are cold.

Lazy Sunday morning. Cuppa on the go and playing a game on my laptop (Eve Online, again after years of absence) using Steam Link. Means I can play on my silent MacBook Air and leave the roaring gaming lappy downstairs. Result.

Yesterday was spent putting nursery plants to bed for the #winter. Which mainly involved me defoliating, weeding and top-dressing a LOT of Weigela “Red Prince”.

Such a chill job, in both sense of the word as it was blooming cold.
