I don't need a password on my user account. (Or bitlocker) It's a desktop PC. If someone is stealing my desktop PC, then I have bigger problems because my house was just robbed.

I know that greyscale anti-aliasing is still a thing, but subpixel rendering is what is really needed. That's what Windows and Linux use to look really good on standard DPI screens.

from what i can tell, the flickering was caused due to me leaving my PC in WinRE doing system restore for 8 hours at school, and for some reason, if a computer is connected to that screen, but not outputting any video to it, it bootloops, which likely damaged the backlight.
