Volunteers will call community members to share Rachel’s background as a speech-language pathologist, EMS director, and volunteer firefighter, talk about what’s at stake in this election, and encourage supporters to make a plan to vote.

The goal of the canvassing is to collect signatures for Rob’s candidacy petition and gain volunteers to support his campaign.

We encourage citizens to continue speaking up peacefully when our government’s actions are unclear or objectionable.

The group remained peaceful, as they always do, so it is difficult to see law enforcement’s positioning of sniper rifles on the roof as anything but a threatening overreaction.

We support those who showed up at the Woodbury County Law Enforcement Center yesterday to question ICE’s arrest and detention of Superintendent of Des Moines Public Schools Ian Roberts.
