Couple of visitors enjoying a dry spell yesterday. A female Holly blue and a Gatekeeper #butterfly. . . If you love butterfly's get some Marjoram in your garden / window box. They love it.

I think it's a ladybird spider. . . He says it's very poisonous? ? I don't think you're supposed to eat them though right.

I can't believe this, but my First EVER trip to #SWTCarltonmarshes today with Jane and David P. Amazing views of the red footed falcons. Decided to celebrate with a cheeky cuppa and missed a bloody BOOTED EAGLE. . . Can't win em all.

Local walk this morning. First of year speckled wood #butterfly also sm white, brimstone and peacocks on the wing, loads of chiffchaff, Blackcap and skylarks taking up territory. Pair of little owls sitting on their nesting tree was our personal highlight.
