Made the mistake I told myself I wasn't gonna make ever again. I got the Flu and Covid vaccines at the same time. T-T I feel like I was hit by a truck.
I guess the good news is we think we've solved at least one of my other medical problems! Yay for progress!

Had to get an ultrasound today. Pulled up my shirt, slapped my belly a couple times, and said: "STRONK! Oh, I probably shouldn't do that in public."
Poor guy giving me the ultrasound blinked a couple times and then said: "Ok, that was hilarious."
This is why you can't take me out in public. 🤣

Iji will whimper in his sleep so the kittens will groom him until he's calm and then curl up next to him (or on him). It is absolutely adorable. This is Grandpa Iji and Princess Ranni. I love that these 2 are both full grown cats. 🤣 Iji is technically only 2 years old but gives big grandpa energy.

We spent the day setting up paints for a new project, had brunch at the local bakery, napped, made dinner, danced and played with the kittens until Gav and Gwyn were flopped out on the tile and little Ranni had fallen asleep in my apron. I didn't want it to end. I hope we have more days like this.

I'm currently on medical leave and I'm supposed to be "resting" but one of my symptoms is insomnia. I am being a good kitty and keeping a regular schedule so I don't go full on nocturnal but "rest" is still meh. I am working on my game and craft backlog, though! Go Me! 🤣 Have a kitty picture:

Stockings are up! The first 3 are from a sale last year and haven't been personalized. I'm not sure how but I'll figure it out next year. I need to make one for Iji and one for me, too. That will be a next year problem since I still have presents to make!

When I'm late feeding the kittens lunch, sweet little Ranni comes into my room, puts her little paws on my leg, tilts her head, and goes: "Myu?" in the most adorable way. This is in stark contrast to Gwyn who jumps on my chest, sticks his butt in my face, and farts. 😑

It was decided last night that breakfast would be the official meal for birthday dinners especially since Echo's birthday is the day after Thanksgiving. The 2 day food coma still hasn't worn off but it was so worth it. 🤣

The plan had been baking today, turkey tomorrow, and then Echo's birthday dinner Friday but Aty and I spent most of the afternoon pulling the rear shocks off my truck. 🤣Oops! Tomorrow will be busy but my roomies deserve yummy food for being absolutely awesome. 😤
