Dick Murdoch comes back on the ballot in 2026 after falling off the ballot this year as a tag team with Dusty Rhodes with less than 10% of the vote.

Murdoch came off the ballot in 2014 under the 15/50 rule as he only got 45% of the vote as he first came on the ballot in 1998.

Batista, Booker T and Kane will come back on the ballot in 2026 in the Modern US/Canada region.

Batista fell off the ballot in 2013 with less than 10% of the vote.
Booker T fell off the ballot in 2006 with less than 10%.
Kane fell off the ballot in 2012 with less than 10%.

In 2026, two more female candidates are added to the ballot with Kyoko Inoue and Tam Nakano.

Kyoko Inoue fell off the ballot in 2021 with less than 10% of the vote.

Tam Nakano makes her debut on the ballot.

June Byers, Dominic DeNucci and Killer Karl Kox will be under the 15 year/50 percent rule in 2026.

Byers received 57.6%, DeNucci with 32.1% and Kox with 16.5%

Cody Rhodes had 64.4% of the vote, YOY jump of 16%.

Sabu had 64.1% of the vote, which is the biggest voting percentage after a wrestler's passing since King Curtis Iaukea in 2011 (63% of the vote)

Bobby Bruns had 62.7% of the vote, YOY jump of 6%.

Spiros Arion lead all inductees with 78% of the vote, a YOY jump of 32%.

Gran Hamada came in 2nd with 75.2%, YOY jump of 33%.

Dorrell Dixon came in 3rd overall with 74.8%, YOY jump of 22%.

CM Punk came in 4th overall with 65.5%, YOY jump of 12%.

The 8 new inductees to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall of Fame are Spiros Arion, Gran Hamada, Dorrell Dixon, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Sabu, Bobby Bruns and French promoter Raoul Paoli by fiat.

7 voted in, 1 via fiat.

Knocking on the door on the public ballot tracker are the following:

June Byers with 59.7%, Bobby Bruns with 56.92%, Morris Sigel with 56.72%, The Briscoes with 55.26%, Sputnik Monroe with 53.73%, the Von Erichs with 52.24% and Hayabusa with 50.77%

(cont.) Cody Rhodes has 65.79%, Junkyard Dog has 65.67%, CM Punk has 63.16% and Ted Turner 61.84%.

These acts currently on the public ballots are the ones that have over 60% that would get them into the WON HOF.

Biggest jump YOY % was CIMA with a 37.3% percentage jump from last year.

CIMA was +7 on the Public Ballot Tracker, right behind Hayabusa, Dixon and Reigns.

CIMA is now in the WON HOF.

This year, the leaders in Net +/- Among Returning Voters are Hayabusa (+10), Dorrell Dixon (+9), Roman Reigns (+9) and CIMA (+7).

If the previous trend from the last two years hold up, this means one of the top 3 would be one of the inductees into WON HOF.

As it stands right now, the public ballot tracker has 7 acts that are over the 60% threshold to be inducted.

The 7 are the Young Bucks (78.13%), Bobby Davis (75.41%), Junkyard Dog (70.49%), Paul Orndorff (68.75%), Shingo Takagi (67.24%) Morris Sigel (65.57%) and Ted Turner (62.50%).

Unlike Sgt. Slaughter (who was a 15 yr/50% candidate), the collection of Big Daddy, Jackie Pallo and Kendo Nagasaki did not receive over 50% of the vote and will be dropped from next year's ballot.

Big Daddy received 45%, Jackie Pallo with 47.5% and Kendo Nagasaki with 27.5%.

Los Hermanos Dinamita (56.8%), Paul Orndorff (55.4%), The Young Bucks (55.1%), Bobby Davis (52.7%), and Roman Reigns (52.4%) just missed the 60% mark.

The results are in and there are 7 new inductees via the voting for the Wrestling Observer Hall of Fame.

Argentina Rocca & Miguel Perez (63.2%), The Beauty Pair 63%), Sgt. Slaughter (62.9%), Jack & Jerry Brisco (61.3%), Tomohiro Ishii (60.9%), Blue Panther 60.6%) & George Kidd (60%) were voted in.

Knocking on the door of the Public Ballots are the following: Paul Orndorff with 58.06%, The Beauty Pair with 57.69%, Blue Panther with 57.14% and Tomohiro Ishii with 53.23%.

Ted Turner, Shingo Takagi and Johnny Rougeau have at least 50% also.

Junkyard Dog has 61.11% and Los Hermanos Dinamita have 60.71% as 60% of the vote is number to get into the WON HOF.

There could be a possibility that these 6 acts plus one more historical figure that Meltzer puts in himself would make up the 7 new inductees like last year.

Noted by Dave Meltzer earlier this week, there will 7 new inductees. From the public ballots we have collected, Argentina Rocca & Miguel Perez have 74.07%, Sgt. Slaughter has 70.37%, Bobby Davis has 68.52% and the Young Bucks have 62.90%.
