Neuro rehab with my dad has good and bad days. But he made us hearts in PT this week, and that's pretty great.

Today, after leaving the hospital, I painted and wined and listened to Soul Miner's Daughter, my favorite band in college. I sat on the floor in our guest room with canvases and acrylic paints and ignored all fuckery. I won't win any awards but it was mentally healthy.

My dad's TV in his hospital room is on mute, so imagine my smirk when I look up and see this:
