They’re old, but enforcement is picking up. Typically it’s after the parent has died and service providers or facilities are coming after children to recoup expenses that weren’t covered by Medicaid/medicare.

Because those sources are using reported data from the cities themselves. No one knows how alt parks is getting their number - making it entirely sus.

The problem is that alt parks is not sharing how they got that number. Official sources range from 4 to 6 million. That is a giant gap that no one from alt parks cares to explain.
