In theory, people could be better off if the money saved at Walmart was greater than the hit to their incomes.
But in reality, findings show lost income is significantly greater than the savings.

Monopoly, a company that can afford to charge exorbitant prices because it lacks competition.

Monopsony, a company that can afford to pay low wages because workers lack alternatives.

This helps explain why Walmart has consistently paid lower wages than its competitors, such as Target and Costco...

... The point is they campaigned and were elected as one by the voters.... and then they switched after winning... do u not see the issue there?
