Day 2 of Quitting Vaping- My Jaw is getting sore from all this Nic Gum. The most interesting thing I’m finding out are how many random triggers that make you crave the vape. Post meals are the hardest cravings but we are getting a handle on it.

Is it an actual inconvenience grating me like sandpaper with exponentially lower grit, or am I just getting old? I’m starting to get pissed that I ordered my glasses over 2 weeks ago & paid express processing yet I still don’t have a tracking number. But they can’t know how prone I am to migraines.

Is it an actual inconvenience grating me like sandpaper with exponentially lower grit, or am I just getting old? I’m starting to get pissed that I ordered my glasses over 2 weeks ago & paid express processing yet I still don’t have a tracking number. But they can’t know how prone I am to migraines.
Tomorrow is my first CEDH Tourney since Saltfest in May. I’m nearly at 2 years of piloting Rogsi & let me tell you it’s a rollercoaster of emotions. When the meta shifts in the slightest I promise you we notice it first. However, going into round one my deck feels the most prepared for it than ever.

Tomorrow is my first CEDH Tourney since Saltfest in May. I’m nearly at 2 years of piloting Rogsi & let me tell you it’s a rollercoaster of emotions. When the meta shifts in the slightest I promise you we notice it first. However, going into round one my deck feels the most prepared for it than ever.
It’s been almost two weeks & Im still working through the emotions of being disowned by my parents. Con:This has drastically delayed my efforts to write on my novel or prepare for the 2 CEDH tournaments coming the next few weekends. Pro: I now have slurry of emotions to write the difficult prologue.

I could rant ad nauseam over how much the Southern Reach has consumed my every thought since journeying into Area X less than a week ago. @jeffvandermeer.bsky.social ‘s Art masterfully blends prose & mystery that weave the reader into the environment as it weaves itself into everything else. 10/10

I could rant ad nauseam over how much the Southern Reach has consumed my every thought since journeying into Area X less than a week ago. @jeffvandermeer.bsky.social ‘s Art masterfully blends prose & mystery that weave the reader into the environment as it weaves itself into everything else. 10/10
My problem with writing is initially seeing the vision of the story in intense vivid cinematic then translating that to prose. It’s like each scene is a cryptic archaic monument in need of careful translation. Each sense/perception used a different language in need of illumination for the audience.

Been thinking a lot about Yarnam and Bloodborne. Less of their roles in the Fromsoft game but more of the cosmic horror and reflections of it in societal degradation that it displays. I genuinely am fascinated by the idea of what this framework would look like transposed to a modern setting.

One thing that is consistent about this community is the need to gripe about card quality. Mostly in the negative but in this crazy world with its untold dangers and possibilities I love that magic players will always have salt for cards they don’t have on their side of the board. #getgood

Watch birds navigate through long uncut grass, the idea of dinosaurs evolving into birds will finally make sense to you holdouts. I’m watching tiny sparrows & chickadees navigating through the verge this morning like velociraptors in the forbidden long grass of “The Lost World” & it’s fascinating.

#Hellboy:TheCrookedMan was an impeccable adaptation and a breath of fresh air to the live action iterations. If you’re a fan of the comics you’ll love this film. If your only exposure to the Property is the Del Toro films it’s gonna miss you completely.

Muse abandons me for a month (which is fine I wasn’t in the headspace for her to visit)… only to revisit me as I’m burning 90mph blasting Handsome Jack going down the interstate in Idaho and can’t grab my fountain pen and journal😅. I think it’s time I broke down and got voice recorder/transcriber.

I’ve just seen The Most Disgustingly Tight Izzet CEDH List in my life and it genuinely has me sweating as a Rogsi Pilot😅. Wanted to Post here before its Brewer reveals it to the world and starts Spiking up a Storm of tournaments.

Some traditions never die. Pre tournament ReSleeve is complete with #ultimategaurd #Katanas and #KMC #Perfectfit. Hopefully I’ll have a chance to run some mulligans when we get to the hotel later to make sure this deck isn’t a slippery Tower of Babel for Swiss rounds tomorrow at #FishBowlFive

Had a wonderful relaxing day with my family out at a local walking trail exploring nature in a slight drizzle. I had a blast inspecting all the plants and critters with my daughter with nothing but time to burn. It was the reset I needed to churn out some pages this week.

#longlegs was a genuinely fun experience to watch. It had some areas of weakness but the originality of the story and how off kilter it kept you shades over these minor issues. Who ever was in charge of the quantitative use of fake blood needs a raise. Personally I don’t know if it gets a rewatch.
